Here's a list of secret and not so secret recipes for eating sort of well and sort of cheap. Feel free to submit recipes for this page to furious@furiousm.com.
Ramen Noodle Dinner:
Ingredients-
Sausage
can of
pinto/black/white/kidney/really whatever you like
beans
broccoli
carrots
celery
other vegetables that may be laying
around
a package of ramen noodles
hot sauce
Fry the sausage in a pan, then put it, the beans, vegetables and noodles in a pot of boiling water. Cook until vegetables and noodles are tender, then drain off the liquid, add the msg packet and as much hot sauce as you can handle.
Quesadilla:
Ingredients-
Beef Stick
can of
Refried beans
tortillas
cheese
hot sauce
This should be pretty obvious, but lay one tortilla on a plate, put the sausage, beans, and cheese on top. Cover with another tortilla and either microwave for a minute or cook it in a pan on the stove. Add as much hot sauce as you can handle, fold over and enjoy. Recommended serving with either a can of vegetables or some frozen vegetables you heat up on the stove.
He-Man Breakfast dish:
Ingredients-
8 medium eggs
Beef
Stick
cheese
onions
green pepper
celery
broccoli
hot sauce
Preferably start by frying beef stick, onions, green pepper, celery, and broccoli in bacon grease, but if that's not handy then olive oil will also work. Stir the eggs up really well in a bowl and once the vegetables have softened add the eggs and cheese. If you want to get fancy you can omelet this up, but the He-Man ain't got patience for an omelet so it's usually easier to just scramble it. Add as much hot sauce as you can handle and enjoy. This breakfast works really well if say, you have five consecutive hours of class and know you will have to go a minimum of six hours before having a lunch break.
Pizza Bread:
Ingredients-
6 French Rolls
1 can
tomato sauce
1 small can tomato
paste
onion
garlic
oregano
mozzarella cheese
Canadian
bacon
pepperoni
black olives
pineapple
other toppings as desired. If
you opt for less toppings than this you are a wuss.
Heat your oven to 375. Fry the onions and garlic in bacon grease, or if that's not handy, olive oil. Then mix in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, and oregano. Once that's hot put the sauce, cheese and toppings on each of the French rolls, put them in the oven on a cookie sheet, and they'll probably be done in 10 to 15 minutes.
Party Chicken Wings:
Ingredients-
A Party
a bag of
frozen chicken wings
2 bottles barbecue sauce
jalapeño/cayenne
pepper
Crockpot
When you get up Party Morning fill the
Crockpot with as many chicken wings as will fit inside, then pour both bottles
of barbecue sauce over it so your chicken is soaking in a barbecue sauce bath.
Add some hot peppers for a little kick, turn the Crockpot on, and 10 hours later
you'll be shitting in tall cotton.
That does it for now. Remember, if
it's good, it will be better with beef stick and hot sauce.
